AI will reshape jobs, not replace jobs, if we prepare our workforce better, per JFF – Intel “AI Ready Workforce” report. AI skills are the most sought-after skills for jobs in the digital economy. All industries need AI Solution Builders and AI Power Users, along with more AI Engineers and Developers.
Program Objectives
- Gain AI technical confidence
- Enhance employability for AI-related jobs
- Produce evidence for employment
- Students aged 16+ from employability education institutions (e.g., community colleges, vocational schools)
- No coding experience required
- Foundational math and statistics skills
- Technical skills: Programming, coding, data science, computer vision, natural language processing, gen AI, LLMs, and algorithmic and computational thinking.
- Social skills: AI ethics, inclusion, privacy and bias reduction, critical thinking, problem-solving, system mapping, solutions building, explaining AI in simple language, and collaboration for work.
- Career growth and job skills: Self-management skills, entrepreneurial mindset, design, and system thinking, technical confidence and social-emotional skills.

Intel is empowering community college students for AI-led future careers
Maricopa County Community College District in collaboration with Intel, is empowering its students for future employability with courses based on the Intel® AI for Future Workforce program. Students also have access to a one-of-a-kind incubation lab to develop AI fundamentals.
Institutionalizing AI skilling for building an AI-ready vocational workforce
The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India has collaborated with Intel to implement the Intel® AI for Future Workforce program. The AI Development Associate course certified by National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) is now benefitting 47+ centres with 100+ training partners and 0.5 million student base across the country.
South Korea and Intel collaborate to bridge AI skills gap
The South Korean government, in partnership with Intel and Samsung, launched the Intel® AI for Future Workforce Program and is creating AI labs to address the shortage of AI talent in under-resourced colleges and rural universities.
