Himanshu Kaul received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India, in 2000, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. Since 2004 he has been with Intel Corporation’s Circuit Research Lab, Hillsboro, OR, where he is currently a Principal Engineer. His research interests include special-purpose hardware accelerators, computer arithmetic datapath, ultra-low voltage circuits, and on-chip communication fabrics. He has published over 70 papers in journals and conferences and holds 26 issued patents. Dr. Kaul received a distinguished technical paper award at ISSCC 2012 and best paper award at ESSCIRC 2012.
